Easy to miss
God keeps calling Moses “my son.” Satan calls him “son of man” — and Moses notices.
Through the first eleven verses God addresses Moses as “my son” again and again. When Satan arrives, his first words are “Moses, son of man, worship me.” Moses answers with the title God had been using: “I am a son of God, in the similitude of his Only Begotten.” The whole contest is over which name Moses will believe about himself.
