The ancient world

Rebekah offered to water ten camels. That meant drawing water by hand for a very long time.

Abraham's servant had ten camels, and a camel after a desert journey can drink well over twenty gallons. Rebekah said, “I will draw water for thy camels also, until they have done drinking,” and ran back and forth to the well until they had. The servant had prayed for a sign of generosity, and what he got was generosity at hard physical cost.
